Hilltop Haven is a privately run B & B based in Hillcrest, a suburb of Durban approx 20 minutes from the city centre. The premises comprise a Cape Dutch style house set in a tranquil area close to town and the Valley of a Thousand Hills. Numerous nature reserves are in the area. Within a few minutes drive experience the scenic splendour of the Valley of a Thousand Hills with its crocodile farm, bird displays, farm stalls, craft market and Zulu village with tribal dancing.

Less than half an hour away exists another world where an abundance of wild animals can be observed in their natural habitat at the Shongweni and Tala game reserves. The Krantkloof gorge is a 10 minute drive away with lovely walks and hikes with picnic areas and waterfalls.

We offer basic accommodation with full English breakfast. All rooms are en-suite and have tea/coffee making facilities. Use of a pool and Jacuzzi are included. Evening meals can be provided on request. Sample menu
